ChargeZone and Vinfast Partner to Expand Co-Branded EV Charging Network

A major development reinforcing the infrastructure backbone of India’s electric mobility segment,** V-Green**, the specialized electric vehicle charging arm of Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup has forged a strategic partnership with ChargeZone, one of India’s largest charge point operators. The collaboration aims to jointly develop a dedicated, co-branded electric vehicle charging infrastructure network to support the retail expansion of VinFast passenger electric vehicles across India.
The alliance marks VinFast’s very first co-branded charging partnership with a domestic CPO in the country. It highlights a growing trend of deep structural integration between international EV manufacturers and localized infrastructure providers to streamline the ownership lifecycle right from the market entry phase.
Strategic Division of Roles and Operations
Under the newly inked agreement, both corporations will leverage their distinct core competencies to accelerate network deployment. V-Green will oversee the strategic planning side, focusing primarily on high-potential site identification and grid layout mapping along critical urban and highway mobility corridors. Conversely, Vadodara-headquartered ChargeZone will deploy its vertically integrated capabilities to manage the installation, engineering software platforms, hardware maintenance, and day-to-day customer service end to end.
This cooperative model allows V-Green to rapidly scale its geographical footprint across the sub-continent without the capital-intensive requirement of building an independent domestic operational setup from scratch.

Immediate Rollout and Technological Specs
The collaborative network has moved past the initial conceptual stage, with 15 co-branded charging stations already successfully commissioned and operational across major transit areas. The partnership’s official flagship facility was launched at the Mangla Trade Hub in Vadodara, Gujarat. Strategically situated directly adjacent to a prominent VinFast dealership showroom, the site acts as a symbolic example of integrating public charging directly into the vehicle delivery and service loop.
In terms of technical capability, the inaugural Vadodara station is equipped with a premium 60 kW DC fast charger carrying standard dual-gun capability. This configuration permits two electric vehicles to hook up and draw power simultaneously, maximizing station utilization rates and compressing conventional wait times during high-traffic intervals.
Next Phase: Crucial Scaling Targets
With a solid foundation in place, the companies have detailed an aggressive roadmap for the next six months. The venture is firmly slated to commission approximately 100 additional co-branded fast-charging stations across the country. While the specific cities and highway nodes have not been entirely publicized, the rollout will target high-density economic hubs and national expressways to ensure comprehensive inter-city connectivity for VinFast car owners and the broader EV driver pool.
Commenting on the national integration, Kartikey Hariyani, Founder and CEO of ChargeZone, stated that the partnership serves as a strong validation of the integrated infrastructure model his company has engineered over the years. He added that dependable, accessible, and integrated charging solutions beyond the initial point of vehicle purchase remain the critical catalyst to accelerating mass EV adoption throughout India.
Echoing these long-term clean energy sentiments, Nguyen Nam Tien, CEO of V-Green, emphasized that expanding reliable, high-speed touchpoints will build overarching consumer confidence in sustainable transportation and enable seamless, long-distance green transit across the country.
Press Trust of India
The large-scale rollout aligns seamlessly with broader national clean energy mandates, functioning as a robust framework to support VinFast's localized manufacturing plans in Tamil Nadu and build a resilient, independent, and self-sufficient green transit ecosystem.
