Ultraviolette Automotive Partners with Bolt.Earth to Expand Fast EV Charger Network in India

In a major push toward strengthening the electric two-wheeler infrastructure in India, high-performance electric motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive and EV charging network giant Bolt.Earth have announced a massive expansion of their interoperable fast-charging ecosystem. The joint venture has officially crossed the milestone of deploying over 130 Type-6 DC fast chargers across multiple states, heavily outpacing their initial launch commitments. Originally targeting a rollout of 50 infrastructure points upon entering their strategic partnership, the companies have achieved more than double their original timeline goals ahead of schedule to cater to a rapidly rising user base.
Accelerating the Type-6 Fast-Charging Footprint
The deployment of this specialized network comes at a vital juncture when high-speed charging is deemed critical to solving range anxiety among performance EV enthusiasts. The current network setup comprises a strategic combination of brand-new installations alongside optimized hardware upgrades to existing Bolt.Earth stations, specifically reconfigured to deliver heavy power outputs seamlessly.
Geographically, the network footprint is already live across seven prominent Indian states: Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and West Bengal. This localized distribution effectively covers critical urban centers, highway networks, and key intercity touring corridors. Looking ahead, both entities have finalized a short-term roadmap to commission an additional 200 Type-6 DC fast chargers within the next two months, establishing stronger national highway connectivity.
Technical Interoperability and Vehicle Support
Built entirely around advanced interoperability, the fast-charging setups are engineered to comfortably support Ultraviolette’s signature performance flagships.
Ultraviolette F77 & X-47 Compatibility
The high-voltage Type-6 DC fast chargers are fully compatible with both the Ultraviolette F77 and the newly introduced X-47 electric motorcycles. This provides riders with high-efficiency, standardized energy replenishment while out on long-distance runs.
Smart Platform Features
The infrastructure is coupled with sophisticated software capabilities that link directly to both the Ultraviolette and Bolt.Earth mobile applications. Through these connected portals, riders can easily execute real-time charger discovery, view live energy session analytics, and access integrated digital point-of-sale payment mechanisms.
Long-Term Visions for Indian Energy Security
The rapid infrastructure scale-up answers the urgent call for domestic clean energy dependencies amidst ongoing international crude oil market uncertainties. By fast-tracking accessible electricity-led transit assets, the partnership intends to secure localized transportation networks against global fossil-fuel supply shocks.
As part of their master infrastructure blueprint, Bolt.Earth has detailed an aggressive roadmap to deploy 10,000 Type-6 Blaze DC chargers over the next two years. This large-scale public initiative positions the platform to create one of the most reliable and extensive public fast-charging structures explicitly designed for electric two-wheelers in India, successfully transitioning the market from urban commuting into long-distance electric mobility.
